We build custom.
You’re touring the show home.
Every Ummah Class portal is built bespoke for the school it serves. What you’ve explored on the demo is the caliber and the quality bar — your school’s portal will be designed for your community, your subjects, your Hifz program, your families.
We’re custom home builders
for Islamic schools.
Off-the-shelf software treats every school like the same building. Yours isn’t. We design the portal around how your community actually operates.
Some run a daily Hifz halqa; some weekly. Some need strict boys-and-girls flow; others mixed by year. Some operate during Hajj season; some don't. Off-the-shelf SIS platforms force every community into the same mould — we don't.
Your portal is shaped around how YOUR school actually works: your subjects, your terms, your parent-communication style, your bilingual UI needs, your zakāt-scholarship flow. The show home you toured is the quality bar — yours is built for you.
After handover, the codebase + your data belong to your school. We can stay on as your long-term technical partner, or hand the keys over. No vendor lock-in, no per-seat surprises.

Common questions
What does the $5,999.99 starting investment cover?
Your foundation build: discovery + design (1-2 weeks), school data import from your current SIS or spreadsheets, custom branding (logo, colours, school name) across all four portals, two staff training sessions, parent rollout templates, and 60 days of white-glove support after handover. Final scope is quoted after the discovery call — schools with deeper Hifz programs, on-site Hajj coordination, or bilingual UI needs run higher.
Why bespoke instead of off-the-shelf SaaS?
Every Islamic school is built around its own community. Boys-and-girls flow varies. Hifz programs differ — some daily revision, some weekly halqas. Hajj season hits some schools harder than others. Bilingual UI may be essential or unnecessary. We build each portal to YOUR school's actual operations rather than forcing your community into a template. The show home you toured is the quality bar, not the product.
What's the ongoing cost after handover?
Hosting + maintenance is quoted separately based on your scale. For a typical 200-student school, infrastructure runs roughly CA$50-75/month (Vercel, Postgres, email, AI). We can bundle ongoing support and feature additions on a retainer, or hand the codebase over to your team — you own what we build.
How long does a build take?
Typically 6-10 weeks from signed contract to launch, depending on data migration complexity and which custom features your school needs beyond the show home baseline. We embed with your team through the first month of live use to make sure the transition stays smooth.
Can we keep using your team after launch?
Yes — ongoing partnerships are common. Feature additions as your school grows, integrations with new tools, training new staff. We treat each Ummah Class build as a long-term relationship, not a one-shot deliverable.
Where is data hosted?
All customer data resides in Canadian data centres. PIPEDA-aligned by default. We can sign custom DPAs and configure additional regional residency for schools that require it (e.g. provincial education-data rules).
